Position:

Audio Visual Technician Level III

Description:

The primary role of the AV Technician is to perform all tasks assigned by the AV Lead Technician, including installation of cabling, displays, speakers, and peripherals for AV systems.\rResponsibilities include leading small to medium projects, working efficiently in a fast-paced environment, accurate daily reporting, analyzing and interpreting system drawings, setting up and configuring VTC systems, and installing and operating audiovisual equipment such as cameras, displays, projectors, microphones, and speakers.\rAdditional duties include cable management, pulling and terminating cabling connections (CAT6, Crestron DM, Crescent, RS232, speaker wire, mic wire, XLR connectors, phoenix connectors), soldering, effective use of basic tools, conducting knowledge transfer with customer groups, and completing deliverables upon project completion.

Requirements:

2+ years’ experience in collaboration or Audio-Visual Integration.\rHigh School Diploma or equivalent required.\rRelevant certifications: Dante Level 1, QSC Level 1, Crestron Certified Technician.\rMust possess or complete the following certifications or training within six months of employment: AVIXA CTS, Dante Level II, Crestron Level II, QSC Level II, Biamp Tesira, Extron AV Associate, OSHA 10.\rAbility to travel nationwide.\rHigh level of customer centricity, team player, strong communication skills, critical thinking, detail-oriented, time management and prioritization, self-motivated, problem-solving skills, proficient in Microsoft Office.\rMust be able to work in various physical positions (climbing, sitting, standing, walking, driving) and use safety equipment as required.
