DevOps Engineer

Description:

Kubernetes Engineer to support a long-term project focused on delivering a comprehensive Portworx solution. This role will be part of a core engineering team, contributing to the design, deployment, and operational readiness of container storage and data services in a lab environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with a Portworx Solution Architect to install, build, and test Portworx Enterprise, Backup, and DR solutions.
Develop and maintain runbooks and automation scripts to support day 1 and day 2 operations.
Conduct knowledge transfer sessions with internal engineering teams.
Apply your Kubernetes expertise to ensure stability, scalability, and performance across various environments.

CMK Resources is seeking an experienced DevOps professional with strong Kubernetes skills.

Requirements:

Familiarity with Portworx solutions (Enterprise, Backup, DR) or similar products.
Strong hands-on experience as a Kubernetes Engineer in enterprise environments.
Experience with one or more Kubernetes distributions: Rancher Kubernetes Engine (RKE2), OpenShift Container Platform (OCP), Oracle Kubernetes Engine (OKE), Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS).
Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., Bash, Python, Ansible, Terraform).
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have:
Previous experience working in lab environments or engineering test environments.
Experience delivering knowledge transfer or operational enablement sessions.
