Job title: Senior and Lead React/Next.js Engineers
Location: Local to Tennessee
Contract: C2C



Must-Haves:

• 5+ years of professional experience with React.js and Next.js
• Proven experience building and maintaining large-scale customer-facing websites
• Strong understanding of SSR/CSR concepts and modern web optimization strategies
• Experience with core application development (not just component-level work)
• Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in cross-functional squads
• Local to Nashville or willing to work onsite 2+ days/week

Preferred:

• Retail or eCommerce experience
• Hands-on experience with React Native and mobile app development
• Exposure to Azure API Management , GraphQL , or microservice-based frontend architecture

What You'll Do

• Work on large-scale, customer-facing websites and/or mobile apps using React and Next.js
• Contribute to and lead ongoing greenfield and modernization initiatives
• Collaborate with product, UX, and engineering squads in an Agile environment
• Profile and optimize frontend performance using tools like Chrome DevTools , Lighthouse , etc.
• Debug and refactor existing code, identifying technical deficiencies and opportunities for improvement
• Support the build and maintenance of API integrations (e.g., Search API , Fulfillment API )
• Optionally contribute to mobile app features using React Native
