Medical Assistant Lancaster PA
We are looking for a motivated Medical Assistant/Patient Rep to join our practice full time in Lancaster, PA. We are looking for a medical office assistant who has experience in helping patients, to assist the physicians with high quality patient care. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a huge plus! We are looking for a team player, who is reliable, friendly and enjoys helping others reach their health goals. Must have a basic understanding of medical procedures and terminology and have excellent communication and organization skills.

Our medical office provides high-quality integrated healthcare to people suffering from neuro-musculoskeletal injuries and chronic conditions. Our extensive slate of office-based diagnostic, surgical and rehabilitation services, provided by our team of compassionate and skilled professionals, are medically managed from evaluation through treatment to ensure patients have the best achievable outcomes. Our mission is to restore quality of life through patient-centric care, supporting those injured in motor vehicle or work-related accidents. We take an interdisciplinary approach, ensuring patients receive coordinated care from evaluation through treatment, with the goal of achieving optimal recovery outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the M.D. and extending providers with patient care including, but not limited to: patient triage, vital signs, phlebotomy, EKG, injury treatment (lacerations, fractures), bracing and injections.
  • Maintain cleanliness of exam and surgical rooms. Disinfect included.
  • Inventory and account for surgical instruments, medical supplies, braces etc.
  • Administer back-office operations and perform duties as necessary.
  • Maintain the OSHA engineering controls log sheet.
  • Document all services performed for patients.
  • Receive and process laboratory results.
  • Enter patient and other data into computer as needed.
  • Assist in general office operations as needed including filing, phones, chart preparation, etc.
  • Assist in maintaining office in neat, clean and orderly fashion.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Medical Assistance Certification (preferred)
  • 6 months experience in medical office environment.
  • Certification for CPR, First Aid, EKG, and/or Phlebotomy.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a huge plus
Schedule:
  • Full time (Mon-Friday)
Salary (range):
  • $20/hr
