Sodexo is seeking an experienced Retail Manager 2 to oversee food service retail operations at Virginia Hospital Center in Arlington, VA . The Retail Manager will work Day Shift (10:30am start time) with some rotating weekend and holidays as business needs dictate. The role will ensure an exceptional dining experience for patients, visitors, and staff. This role oversees all retail food services, driving operational efficiency, enhancing customer satisfaction, and fostering a culture of excellence in service and quality.

What You'll Do

• have oversight of day-to-day operations of the cafe, Subway, coffee by Starbucks, and a sushi concept;
• deliver high quality food service;
• achieve company and client financial targets and goals;
• develop and maintain customer relationships;
• develop strategic plans;
• create a positive environment; and
• ensure Sodexo and client standards are met.

• Has a work history demonstrating strong leadership skills;

• Financial ability to manage and demonstrate proven results with material costs, labor, procurement compliance and controllable expenses.
• Can demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED or Equivalent
Minimum Management Experience - 1 year
