Robert Half's Full-Time Engagement Professionals (FTEP) team is looking for a talented Sr. Accountant to join our growing roster of accounting experts! What You'll Do: + Prepare and manage financial statements, ensuring timely and accurate reporting for client assignments. + Reconcile accounts, post journal entries, and maintain the general ledger to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal policies and standards. + Assist with and potentially manager month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities for clients. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance and operations professionals, to address accounting discrepancies and develop efficient processes. + Assist with audits, whether internal or external, by gathering and organizing required documentation. + Support budgeting and forecasting processes for various client organizations. + Provide ad-hoc client support with various projects and initiatives, such as assisting with software implementations, SOP documentation, streamlining processes and procedures, etc. + Advise clients with research on accounting standards and regulatory compliance (e.g., GAAP). + Adapt quickly to fit seamlessly into client teams, maintaining professionalism and representing Robert Half's high standards of service. Requirements What We're Looking For: + Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required. + 6+ years of accounting experience, with a solid understanding of GAAP principles and practices. + Proficiency with ERPs such as Sage Intacct, NetSuite, SAP or similar tools. + Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, v-lookups, and data manipulation. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with great attention to detail. + Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with the flexibility to thrive in various team settings. + CPA and/or MBA is a plus, but not required. + Willingness to travel to local client offices for assignments (if applicable).
