Key Responsibilities - Formwork Construction: Build and install formwork for concrete pours, ensuring structural soundness and accuracy to project specifications.
- Concrete Finishing: Smooth, level, and seal concrete surfaces as required to achieve quality standards.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with project managers and tradespeople to optimize timelines and work processes.
- Material Handling: Safely transport tools, equipment, and materials related to concrete construction.
- Site Safety: Comply with safety protocols and promote a safe work environment, participating in regular safety meetings.
- Quality Control: Inspect completed work for accuracy and quality, making adjustments as needed.
- Problem Solving: Troubleshoot challenges to keep construction moving efficiently.
- Tool Maintenance: Maintain all tools and equipment, reporting repair needs promptly.
Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalent; carpentry certification preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in concrete carpentry or similar construction fields.
- Proficient in using a variety of carpentry tools and equipment.
- Strong understanding of concrete construction methods and industry standards.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Team-oriented with excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations with a strong commitment to safety.
