Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Patient Coordinator for Therapy Services to join our team. This entry-level position serves as the first point of contact for patients and plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the therapy department. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, empathetic, and skilled at multitasking to meet the needs of both patients and therapists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Intakes: Conduct initial intake procedures for new patients, ensuring all necessary documentation is collected and processed.
  • Scheduling: Coordinate and manage scheduling for therapists and their patients, ensuring timely and accurate appointments.
  • Liaison Role: Act as a primary point of communication between therapists and their patients regarding day-to-day scheduling or documentation needs.
  • Documentation Management:
    • Follow up with patients and therapists on incomplete documentation.
    • Process and manage patient discharges in accordance with clinic policies.
    • Submit warning letters and other necessary documentation to patients as required.
  • Therapist Support: Assist with administrative tasks related to the hiring and termination of therapists.
  • Administrative Duties: Support additional administrative needs as they arise to maintain departmental efficiency.
Qualifications
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and handle a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications and scheduling software.
  • Empathy and professionalism when interacting with patients and therapists.
  • Preferred: Spanish-speaking skills to support a diverse patient population.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a healthcare or administrative role is a plus but not required.
Position Details
  • Hours: Part-time (Full-time opportunities available depending on candidate and clinic needs).
  • Compensation: $15–$18 per hour, commensurate with experience.
