Job Description

Flowly Solutions is hiring for a skilled vehicle maintenance mechanic for our logistics team.

This is a full time position with weekly opportunities for overtime. The schedule will be Monday through Friday, no weekend work will be required for this role. We are flexible on the exact schedule you will be given based on your availability.

For this role, you will be maintaining a fleet of vehicles. This includes, but is not limited to, repairs, maintenance, parts ordering and vehicle record management. Prior experience maintaining company vehicles such as buses and trucks is preferred but it is not required. 

We are a relocation business specializing in moving, assembling and repair. We offer a variety of other services as well.

Responsibilities:

• Performing scheduled maintenance of vehicles to ensure they are functioning properly
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting vehicle issues and completing repairs
• Working directly with parts vendors to keep inventory stocked and order them as required
• Communicating directly with the transportation manager and driver 
• Keeping accurate records of repairs done, parts ordered, and maintenance logs
• Learning to effectively use our computer systems to keep track of records and communications
• Finishing inspections of the vehicle and road testing them
• Completing all trainings to obtain certifications required to remain in compliance
• Following all safety standards at all times

Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a vehicle mechanic is required to be considered for this position
• Experience working with diesel engines
• Maintaining a valid Class C driver license
• Computer literacy and typing experience
• The ability to lift 30 pounds
• Fantastic communication and customer service skills
• Reliable transportation to work
• No formal education is required
